Hi everyone I started the program back in November. I got to session five and just for some reason quit. I started feeling great and doing some things that I wanted and used to do. So then I missed a day then another and then another. Then I did a major backslide. Right after xmas, I didn't leave the house for about six weeks, and the panic attacks were worse then they were before I started. Now I just can't seem to get motivated to listen to the tapes again. I am doing better and going to the store againm, and stuff for the kids at school, and then tonight they went to the drivein and I just could not get myself out of the door. My son is having a friend stay over, and both boys have add, and it just got me so wond up watching them, that the thought of being alone with them in the van with my other kids and the dh sent me into high anxiety. So I chose the weak out and took it. I hate this!!!
I want to listen to the tapes again and am determined to start them again tomorrow.
I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this after a few tapes. Or am I the only backslider :).
Take care

Hi. I have been doing the program since December. i am on lesson 10. Don't beat yourself up for a backslide, but do continue with the program. It' really works, but you have to work at it. There have been times when I have felt good and wanted to stop too, but I have also had times when I've felt pretty bad and was greatful for the program. It will get better, your anxiety may always be something that you have to deal with, but you will learn here how not to give it so much power. Good luck!!
