I really like the relaxation CD, especially section three (the journey). Does anyone know of similar resources? I down-loaded a "visual journey" from a self-hypnosis website, but then got freaked out at the subliminal messages.
I'd appreciate any feedback.
Thanks in advance,

I'm going to try "The Deep Sleep Every Night" CD. I went to one website where it was sold out and haven't looked anywhere else. Hope it works!

It's not really precisely what you're looking for, but this is something you can use that won't have the same effect as audio sumbliminals but may be as effective, plus it's free.

Hi. Just to jump in here sideways. I'm looking for an appropriate resource for a relaxation/affirmation recording for an 11 year old. Any ideas? Thanks.

In the newsletter 'Stress Less' that I got with
my program there's a section full with relaxation
cd's to purchase but for some reason they aren't online to purchase -you have to call the Stress
Center and order over the phone.

Thanks so much for all your responses. I knew I saw some other relaxation cd's someplace... now I just have to find my newsletter!
Hey AimCat, have you considered directly posting to the counselors on this site? I bet they'd probably have a resource. I don't have children, but most are highly imaginative; i wonder if your son/daughter would benefit from the nature walk on the relaxation cd?

You may want to search guided imagery or guided meditation...something along those lines.

I think (? can't remember ?) mine came with the program. But if you call the above # they will send one out ( I think the newsletters might be seasonal?).
