Hi everyone one of the biggest problems i have with self esteem is my weight i am not over over weight i am about 20 pounds and my life since about the age of 11 or 12 i hated myself because of the little extra weight i have but some reason and ireally cant tell you I really never tried to lose it and bothers me i am not motovatedto do something that makes my life miserable.but last night i went to bed determained to shedd these pounds buy Christmas. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or want to join me we can keep track together and help stay confident and keep going let me know or write anything that helped some else thanks

Hi Helen, I know exaclty how bothersome this is. I too have struggled many years with wanting to shed some weight and really need to for my self esteem. I would love to work together with you and anyone else wanting to lose pounds.
I have lost 15 pounds over past couple of months just by not drinking pop or eating the desserts I love. I need to still lose 20 pounds or maybe a bit more. I will know how much once I like how I feel about my body and fit back into some favorite pieces of clothing.
Remember also the more we stress about anything the more the cortisol ( fat hormone ) is released so lets just try to see ourselves as we want to be and not how we don't.
We can do this and will do this !!

Helen I know just how you feel. In the last year I have gained about 20 pounds and I can't hardly fit into my clothes. It is really depressing. I think the medicine I am on has helped me gain some of the weight. I just recently joined curves and I love it! Have you ever considered that? It is such a laid back situation and it is all woman which I love. It makes me feel better too. I am going to try to throw out everything that is temping to me which will be a struggle! LOL! Let me know how you do. We can do anything that we put our minds too.
