Hi all,

The Lord spoke to me and taught me something that is a natural law, it's simple and how it works in prayer.

Listen to this: In order to receive a blessing you must have your hand(s) open. Right? Think about this. If you are holding on to the thing you are praying about, how can you receive anything?

If you are holding the thing you pray about and your hand is closed. Let go of whatever you are praying about; that will free your hand to be open to receive God's blessings.

Your blessing is coming from above and it is a big blessing so you have to have both hands opened and raised. This should be your position of expectancy, while you pray. It is also the position that our Lord was in when He was crucified.

Let Go and Let God take over this will free your hands to receive that big package of blessings you have asked for.

Here's another nugget about life.

I was at breakfast the other day, and sharing with some of the patrons. The thought occurred to me as I was chomping down on a lemon meringue pie. That pie is like life. Life has its sweet, tart and bitter moments just like the filling.

Sometimes we get all swelled up with joy, like the topping, and sometimes it is as flat as the pie shell, when we hit bottom. Nevertheless, we should savor each every bite and ask ourselves, could or would you want it any other way?

Isn't the Lord so clever that even in the food we eat He reminds us of the answer to the whys that we may have?

It's just a thought that I got when I was savoring every bite.

Dear children,

I love putting these things together, as he leads me, with the songs. In so many cases, I am putting the words together, as lead, and the songs serve to confirm that I am going in the right direction. I am so glad that this song spoke to you.

Can you imagine how joyful my day is because of how He blesses me in this way? It happens to me at least 20-50 and maybe more times in the day.

It all depends on the song He moves me to listen to when I write. It may happen 15 times in one reply. It is so awesome and at times so heart rending.

I wish all of you could experience these feelings. It is so powerful a display of His presence in this work that he has given me to do. I feel so blessed because of all of this no matter how humbled it makes me feel.

I am so glad you remained still enough to share in my joy, and know that He is God.

T-sis maybe now , you can go back and re-read all those letters I sent you and hear all the same things I heard when I wrote them. Or maybe you already did that.

All for His praise, glory and the joy it give us and Him!

I have listened to the 1st dvd, and taken the test to rate anxiety & depression. I really need this group of people. Espcially with sisters in Christ. My score was 54.
My middle son Matt has bought the material for himself and has been doing it for a while now, & said it has helped Him. He suggested it to me. The only thing is, is I need to buy the workbooks. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

You are a very profound writer. I feel very blessed for having read your post. I have a question...this is a tough one...I have been raised to forgive if we want God to forgive us. How do we forgive if something very traumatic has happened to us? A man stole something from me, that I had only given my husband...because of this violation, the daughter I was carrying at the time, she was born still born. I live very close to God, but this issue, I have hard a very hard time, forgiving my attacker. I ask you again, from one Christian to another, help me to understand, so that I can forgive.

I don't think that I am so much a profound writer. I make a lot of mistakes in my writing. I do try to provide enough information to make my points clear. A lot of people don't get it, but if a few do, then that's great and all good.

I think that almost everyone has been down a path where someone has wronged them or they have wronged someone, in either a moment of anger or part of some effort to return evil for evil. This is a struggle for all of us, and that includes Christians. There are many pointers in the book of psalms that tell us not to return evil for evil, and to bless them that curse you. Then you have Jesus' Sermon on the Mount with similar expressions. It is not an easy thing to do, but it is a behavior that can be learned and practiced. The more you practice, the more second nature it becomes. The thing that really makes the Lord's Prayer so revolutionary, it this simple phrase:

forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors

What makes this revolutionary for its day was, as the Pharisees would say the only one that can forgive sins is God, and a sin offering had to be taken to the High Priest, so that he could go in the holy of holies to present the offering for the sins. But what Jesus is saying is: you do not need a sin offering to obtain God's forgiveness. All you need to do is go to the offended party to give or obtain forgiveness.

This is something I studied a long time ago, probably 1991, under a great teacher: Derrick Prince. This was one of his favorite topics. In his teaching about the principles of prayer, he points out that it is essential to go to God with a clear conscience; that is how you present your prayer with an open hand. If you are holding a grudge, or find that you cannot bring yourself to forgive the offender, your hand will be closed to receive the answer to your prayers. God answers all prayers, but you must come to Him with open hands free of any guilt conscience. Does that make sense to you?

Will He answer prayers if you hands are closed or bound? There is a good chance that you could receive blessings through other people that can intervene for you, but that is no guarantee; their own hands may be closed. The best thing to do to receive to His blessings; is to pray for him to give you the courage to trust Him enough that will give you the opportunity to forgive the other person(s). Once you clear that hurdle, you can go to Him with full confidence and a clear conscience; that you can go to your Daddy God with the full expectation that He will hear and answer your prayers.

Believe me; it really does work in this manner. What a lot of people understand is that you can go to go with a contrite heart about anything and He will forgive you. However, there is a difference, between God forgiving you and God being able to convey His blessing to you; when your hands are close. If you want an answer to your prayers, you have to be free of anything you are holding. That especially includes grudges. In your case, I am sure your suffered a lot of emotional pain because of the incident, and the person that has wronged you, and your baby’s chance at life, may be remorseful about it. You have a clear choice; consider this, for lack of a better word, offense to you and your unborn child, as emotional baggage. Until you trust God enough to release that emotional baggage, you will continue to live and re-live this offense and injury to you. If you trust God enough to meet this offender, face to face, and look them in the eye, and tell them how much they hurt you, but that despite of all the hurt, you feel compelled to forgive them. You then step back, and give them an opportunity to react, receive your forgiveness, and you will see God’s powerful hand of love at work. With each unloading of baggage you will even feel lighter. It is like the weight of the world is being removed from you and your burden will be lightened. It is exactly as He says in Mat. 11:28-30:

Pray every day, for God to give you the courage to face this problem, and the strength and wisdom to hand over this burden to the Lord. Then when He inspires you to move forward and you do it successfully, then your hands will be open to receive all of God's blessings; and He will open His storehouse and shower you with His love and everything you ask for in His name.

I am going to give you a song on an album to listen to and I'll pray that it be a blessing to you and give you the sense of His presence and assurance that He sees you, and knows you, and want desperately to help you.

I will never be able to tell my attacker that I can forgive him, if I am ever at that point, for I do not know who he is. I will however continue to pray over this. Thank you for your responce.
