I and my family are in need of prayer at this time. My father passed away a week ago . We are all stuggling with grief. Although he was 86 he went in the hospital thurs and died saturday he went quickly. My nicec the nurse thinks that the hospital should have done things differently and that is just adding to our stress and anxiety.

I'm so sorry about your dad. I'm sure it's real tough when a parent passes away. My folks are both in their 80's now. I know that the years I have left with them won't be many.
As for the nurse at the hospitol, was there really anything else that could've been done ? Is your nurse someone that likes to cause trouble or does she have a point ?
All I can say is I'm sorry for your loss. You always have these message boards to release stress anytime.

Hi jettagirl02007
My father passed 18 months ago at age 91. In his final days,we wanted to try anything to prolong his life. We finally discovered the efforts were for us, not him. Sometimes we extend life at the expense of the "Quality of Life". Prolonging ones life may not be doing them a good service.
Remember the good times, your Father will always be with you.
Best Wishes
