Good morning brothers and sisters in the struggle and in the faith,
Here are a few New Testament citations that should help to give us the sense of peace that lets us know who is in control:
Mat 6:25, 30 Don't worry, don't worry about tomorrow seek ye first the kingdom...
John 14:1, 27 Let not your heart be troubled...
John 20:13-17 why are you crying? think of it this way: It's me, I am with you, why are you crying? I have overcome the world. The context in which Jesus is telling her "Stop holding on to me" is an implication that his mission is not yet complete as He must return to the Father. Our heavenly Father.
So fear not my little ones, He is with us, He loves us, and He overcame the the world, sin and death and rose to new life. Alleluia! Even if you can not see Him because of our tears or other worldly obstructions, He is here with us and better still He has returned to the Father so that part of His ministry (to ascend to the Father) has been completed.
To those who refuse to believe the evidence is unrefutted, by the discourse in the first few chapters of Acts (Historical account of the early church) Acts 2: 22-47. Who was Peter speaking to? Devout Jews! Where were those first source critics? Not one voice in opposition to what was being exclaimed by Peter. Not one!
Peter continues His proclamations in the Temple At Acts 3 :12-et seq. Acts 4:5-21 At verse 14 the accusers saw... and they could say nothing! In these entire accounts the brothers are charged, but not one witness came in opposition to the testimony of Peter. They denied not that:
The Jesus was the one spoken of by their prophets,

that Jesus performed wonderus works of healing,
that they (the church leaders) crucified Jesus,
or that Jesus was raised from the dead!

To all here, please plant this seed in your heart. It comes to us from Col. 3:1
3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ,
seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
