Stress Center Peer Support

Hello, All. As those of you who know me are aware, my main anxieties are around health issues, my own as well as my family. I have moy annual physical today, and have to have all the usual screenings, some bloodwork, etc. Why this causes me so much dread I do not know, but I of course am expecting them to find something horrible-a lump, abnormal result, etc.

Can you please send me a quick prayer/good thought that all will be well? It is so depressing to be 33 years old and convinced you have some terminal illness all the time...

Let your Doctor know that you are very apprehensive and phobic about these checkups. He/She may help relieve your phobia/fear about the visit. It always helps to make your fears known.
