Well, here I am again--asking for prayer for a home. I have been renting beyond my means (I guess anything that's unsubsidized is beyond my means at this point).

It would be great to have a relatively safe, stable place to live. A lot of things have been going well in my life--and I would love a healthy home to be another great component. (Otherwise, It's so hard to move forward.)

After speaking with a social worker this week--we came up with three scenarios
1.) try to work out something with my parents to live in their 2 unit home--i would like to believe that this could work--but there has been ugly history there--so i am very conflicted about this
2.) try to partner with a psychosocial club and enter into a housing component with the club or 3.)enter the shelter system (and exaggerate my domestic violence history--which i don't feel comfortable with--yes, i have a history as a victim. . . but i don't want to exaggerate it).

Your prayer, feedback and advice is welcome! Thanks.

I will say a long prayer for you that you find a safe and comfortable place that you can call home.

Jazelle,
I hope this helps. You might want to print this out and keep it handy until you get used to it.

If you want to reply to a discussion already started--
1.) Click on the "Reply" tab followed by the blue arrow.
(This works when you are currently viewing the discussion that you are interested in. Otherwise you have to find it first then follow the steps.)
2.) Type your "Message".
3.) Click on "Post Now".

If you want to start from scratch--

1st Choose the forum (General, Sprituality, etc.).
You can do this by clicking on the Forums link (the word "Forums" underlined) -- it is toward the top in the center. A list will appear, on the left--click on the one you want.

2nd Find the "new" tab (to the right of the go tab, toward the upper left). Click on "New" (there's a folder picture to the right of it).

3rd Click on "Discussion"

4th Type in Your "Subject" and "Message".

5th Click on "Post Now".

Also, there are helpful functions under the "Go" tab. When you have time to fiddle around you may want to explore. It will help you stay organized and save time in the end.
