Hi, everybody. I have been on the program for about a month and I already have seen a difference in how I react to things. I have had way less anxiety attacks and I can't remember when I last had to take an Ativan. I lost my uncle the 5th of this month. I went to his funeral Friday of this last week. I have had a hard time dealing with it but every day I feel like I am getting better. Valentines was hard because I seen all those roses when I went to pick out my husband's gift. At the funeral I learned how much he loved roses. He used to plant them every Valentine's with my aunt. I started writing me a poem this weekend and it was really healing. My uncle worked on everybody in my family to get them into church and know God. He was a big influence on some of them going to church. I haven't been to church in awhile but I think I am going to start going. I also have decided that my family doesn't visit enough but I am going to start visiting them more often. We get so wrapped up in our lives that we often forget how short life really is. Anyway, I would appreciate any thoughts on this subject and if you would pray for me in this time of loss. This program has helped me immensely with my panic attacks and I even managed to get through the whole funeral without having one. Thank you Anxiety Program. Sincerely, Unicorn1

I am so sorry for your loss...it is so hard to lose someone you love.
What a testament to how far you have come to be able to attend your uncles funeral with out a panic attack...that must tell you a lot.

I agree we do not spend enough time with the people we love and before we know it they are gone.
Return to church and God for yourself that is how you will get the most out of your journey...remember even if you are not in church the almighty is still right by your side walking and waiting for that day you will turn to him.
About your uncle could you start a remembernce tradition of planting a rose bush every Valentimes day...if not at your house maybe someone else you love...I love that he planted roses so he and his wife could enjoy them through out time.
My thoughts and prays are with you..Michelle
