Is anyone else watching this new show, "Obsessed" on A&E. There are times when I find it hard to watch, but it's also helpful to watch people struggling with mine or similar symptoms. And, in most cases getting better.

Last night I had to stop watching half way through. Watching the show also causes me a lot of anxeity. I think I am afraid that I my pick up some of their OCD. It's painful to watch.

I stayed up to watch the show but missed it. I dont understand why it can cause anxiety. I know that I live with lots of anxiety/panic and seeing someone go throught the same symptoms as me gets me upset.

I never saw the show, maybe I am OCD, but isn't that just part of the anxiety. My therapist told me good anxiety warns you of dangers, bad
anxiety is when you have exaaggerated like my
bp going so high that I think I am going to have a stroke and I walk all of the time, but I
think I am havng more success with dealing with that particular thought.

I asked my therapist about the show and she told me I shouldnt watch it. She said she has people coming to her after watching the show that dont even have ocd because it is making them nervous. I havent seen it because I knwo for me when I read or hear things I will always try to connect the symptoms or things to my ocd.
