On evening an old Cherokee Indian told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.

The bad wolf is fearful, frustrated, guilt ridden, sorrowful, regretful, self-pity, resentful, inferiority and lies.

The good wolf is joy, peace, confidence, hope, strength, serenity, kindness, truth, compasssion and faith.

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

When we get obscure thoughts it is our choice thereafter as per which wolf we want to feed.

Oh I LOVE that story! I too have heard this one and I would just think about what that meant. It is too true. Thank you for letting me hear it once again!
