How many OCDers had to go to the hospital b/c

they really thought that this is it-the thought of

harming themselves-I went to the psych hospital

for the idea of harming myself without acting on it.

Am I the only one?

I don't have OCD or these obsessions, but I think I remember Lucinda talking about this a few times on the CD's. It seems to me people can have all kinds of scary thoughts. I haven't listened to that one yet, maybe it would help??

The CD on scary thoughts would be very helpful to listen to. I haven't had thoughts like that, but she talks about all scary thoughts that is not always about harming yourself. Just thinking scary thoughts about the future that is bothering you and others things.

I think part of it comes with anxiety and negativity, according to Lucinda. Our minds are very powerful, so the message was to be careful of what you think and fill your mind with good thoughts. Hopefully, more people can post on this topic.
