hi every one im new my name is paul and i was diagnosted with hocd everything was going well until i saw this site <A HREF="http://www.narth.com" TARGET=_blank>www.narth.com</A> and the site was telling that they could cure homosexuality at that momement i got feared could this be true?can i turn into to gay?are all my homosexual thouths true?i fell nervous and right now i have headache does my homosexuallity thouths have any sexuallity inside or they are just thouths of fear and compulsion.i really need help.thanks

Paul - You are a phobic and nothing more. Lately there seems to be several posts about hocd. Please read the responses because they will help you tremendously. Your obsessive fear right now is that of being gay. You are not.

Stay of the blogs and websites for now. Eventually you will need to expose to these things that you fear and feel the anxiety (and you can do this with the help of a therapist for support if you wish) but for now, learn the tools that will help to calm you down. Focus on your breath and stop scaring yourself. Remind yourself that it is just your ocd and nothing more. I recommend the program and also Howard Liebgold's Freedom from Fear. Both offer wonderful tools to help you overcome your fear.
