Hi all,

here are some lyrics that seem appropriate:

Doesn't it make you want to do this? :

Even if we don't fully know, it is clear that it is all right to feel:
http://www.klove.com/lyrics/lyrics.asp?2797

Boy, I think the Lord is really speaking to me and maybe all of us to say:

Isn't this comforting?:

Big-al, isn't this comforting? Don't you feel that this helps you to see that He sees you, He knows you and He cares for you and all of us. This is why:

Just one more: http://www.stevencurtischapman...enintherealworld.htm

Isn't all this enough to give you Blessed Assurance?

I'm rejoicing to find other Christians encouraging each other and building each other up here!

I'm intrigued by your use of Yeshua for Jesus, Gman. My husband and I worked with Jews for Jesus in San Francisco in the '80's and there we called him Y'shua. (Same beautiful name for our Lord.)

Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus - certainly not our thoughts, nor the Enemy - our All-Powerful God has His children securely in His Hands! There was a time when I worried I would sin and then suddenly die without forgiveness - I'm so glad His Word has taught me otherwise - "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus!" Romans 8:1. (I love that verse.) Jesus paid it all! And He said "It is finished!" I'm thrilled by this "Bible study on the net" as one of you called it!

Hi Judyg,

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I am not a Jew for Jesus. I understand how you may be intrigued, but I learned the Hebrew/Jewish name of our Lord and Savior Yeshua (direct English Translation= Joshua= God Saves) and decided to use it instead of Jesus. I did provid a link on my original post but you may have missed it. Here it is:

http://yeshua.com/

Goggle the name and you will find several references and find out why I choose to use Yeshua in my prayers. I know that tradition and time may have clouded assumptions about our Lord's name, and do not have any problems regarding this point. Nor do I judge or condemn anyone. That is not my function.

I am so glad that you came to the understanding and meaning of the freedom that you received and freely accepted, and have a much clearer understanding.
I worried I would sin and then suddenly die without forgiveness - I'm so glad His Word has taught me otherwise - "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus!" Romans 8:1. (I love that verse.) Jesus paid it all! And He said "It is finished!"

I am listening to a Jeremy Camp song at this moment titled "I still believe" how appropriate at this moment: http://www.klove.com/lyrics/lyrics.asp?1560
we really have to take this life time to love and learn. I just switched to this song (number 6):
http://www.stevencurtischapman...enintherealworld.htm As we remember our chains (#8) and as we struggle and strive through our lives, it is hard to ignore the talents of this young man who God has blessed to write, arrange and sing the beautiful songs that speak to our hearts.

How could we ever think that God could love us any less? I am sharing all these things, lyrics and links, to help us all see that God is all around us. All you have to do is slow down to take the time to see, hear and marvel at the majesty that is God's and how much He Loves us and the lengths He will go through to give you the signs of His Blessed Assurance.

All this can only serve to give you a sense of gratitude, comfort and consolation. All we really have to do is accept it. How much easier can He make it for us?

Oh my God he is singing the Miracle of Mercy.

I have to go, I have to throw my face on the floor. You have to listen to this album and you will want to hear all of it over and over again. I'll leave it here for now.

I had to edit this piece. Someone sent me this, and it is a good though provoking message:

Thank you, Gman, for your reply re Yeshua. I will Google it and find out why you chose this Name! Right now I think my computer is sick and I will need our computer guy to look at it. Every thing is running very slowly; I wasn't even sure I'd ever be able to get to StressCenter this evening! But God is good!
Hopefully, I'll have time and the opportunity to also go to some of the special sites you've listed. I love music - I'm one of the two pianists at our church (played tonight and will again tomorrow), so I'm interested in listening to the Christian music you're sharing.
Thank you and God bless!

Hi Judy,

Thanks for all your comments. I did post the link to yeshua.com several times on the posts. You probably just missed them.

In re your computer, you might want to try clearing your browser cache. Besides that, they seem to have more than share of problems with the forum's server that can create the impression that it may be your computer.

In re the lyrics and links to them, I get all of them from http://www.klove.com/music/listenonline.aspx they have links to most of the songs played as they pa=lay them or if you know the titles you can conduct a lyrics search through their lyrics search engine.

The links to the SCC player is something that we can all be thankful for his generosity. Here it is access to his library. Select play on any of his albums that launches the album and plays the songs:

http://www.stevencurtischapman.../radio/musicmain.htm

Thanks so much for your blessings. That is so nice that you play the piano at church. May God richly bless you for sharing this talent. All I have is my voice and my feet when it comes to giving of myself to any praise and worship.

Someone shared a video that I would like to share with all here, check this out:

Hi Brian,(right)? I,ve been all over the place!I,m like a kid in a cany store. Reading other peoples stories lets me know I,m not alone, reading responses is so heartwarming.I can actually feel the love and concern people have for one another;it,s genuine. And if it isn,t necessarly sound advice you can offer a person you can send a word of encouragement. What a great place to have the opportunity to open up and share your heart.I have to admit, the,get ready......annonimity(don,t have dictionary on hand)is a plus. It,s why we feel free to open up as we do.

It was nice to hear from you. Keep in touch.

Liz
