Know of any good assertiveness books or anything else of help?

Respect yourself enough to stand up for yourself; your feelings, concerns, and opinions and ask for what you want. Also, learn how to say “no” without feeling guilty

Idiots Guide to Assertiveness is helpful. Several of the books by Dr. Wayne Dyer (many subjects) are good for assertive behavior as well. Good luck.

Lack of assertiveness is usually linked to low self-esteem. I have found Celebrate Your Self by Dorothy Briggs and Nathaniel Branden's books very helpful. I'm sure there are numerous other books out there. Hope this is helpful. :)fare
