I know that alot of us are doing new eating for the new year and for health reasons and may be looking for some ideas for meals. What do you all think of creating a thread for

Main course w/meat
Main course meatless
side dishes
desserts

And these would be meals that are good for us who are looking to cut the foods we know may increase anxiety. Low fat, low salt, no chocolate or caffeine. And using foods that are known to be calming like Sweet potatoes, couscous, bananas, yogurts, etc. etc. Obviously there are more foods we can eat but that is just a suggestion to get it started. Let me know what you all think. And then we can take it from there.
Thanks
Jill~

I have so many recipes I could share. I've also written 6 e-books that I sell on my raw website. I can copy and paste them in here.

Pictures would be great too. :)

Yummy Sweet Black Beans

I know, this doesn't sound very appetizing (especially if you're not a fan of beans) but everytime I make this my husband (who has "hated" beans all his life) raves about how good they are... so give it a try!

Take 2 cups dry black beans & soak overnight. Rinse and then, boil 1 hour.
Add 2 chopped onions, 1/4 cup olive oil & 2 bay leaves (if available)
Cook for 4 hours in crock pot on low
Add 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. vinegar & 2 tsp. salt (or spices).
Serve over cooked brown rice (can add diced meat)
