So many people keep telling me to start drinking green tea. Then there are some people that tell me green tea will worsen anxiety.

Anyone have anything to add on green tea..

Hi Beth, I know green tea has caffiene in it and that is why I can't drink it. That could make the anxiety worse. I don't know of any other reason. Hope that helps! :)

Try the decaf green tea. I only drink decaf tea and it doesn't make my anxiety any worse. It's calming just having to sip it as it cools down so I think that helps calm me down, too.

Like Larissa said, there's decaf green tea. I drink I big cup of green tea every night. There's allot of reason why green tea helps, but I don't know that green tea has or does anything bad for anxiety. Any one?

I haven't found any decaf Green Tea, just less caffeine than regular. White Tea has less caffeine than green tea.

I drink Green tea decaf and it works for me ... I started with 3 cups and day and I don't think you can completely cutt back on caffeine or salt you need that in your body ... because if you drink plenty of water it takes out the salt that's in your body and that would mean you'll end up losing out big...
