Here is some information on L-tryptophan, GABA, Stevia, and Kava. The main point here is that just because something is �natural� it does not mean it is safe or effective. I want to emphasize again that dietary supplements do NOT need to be approved by the FDA for safety and effectiveness before they are sold to the consumer. Additionally, manufacturers and distributors of dietary supplements are NOT required by law to record, investigate, or forward any reports of injuries or illness from use of their product to the FDA (<A HREF="http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/ds-oview.html" TARGET=_blank>http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/ds-oview.html</A>).
