I have promised myself that beginning today, that everyday, I am going to make a short list of "things to do" today. I am starting with 5 tasks... so far, I have done 3 of them.
In doing this, I am forcing myself from the dark hole and into the reality of my life. From laying around, to getting up and moving. Some things are simple and take just a minute, but WE HAVE TO START somewhere.
So, I have folded a load of laundry, moved the clutter from my kitchen counter, and straightened up my bedroom... doesn't seem like much, but for someone that has spent months laying around and giving into the depression, these are monumental feats!
Now, I will empty the dishwasher and then take out the garbage. WOW, I was actually productive today... WHAT A FEELING! Gotta move, keep the body moving...
