So here is something interesting. I have had a weird vision problem where I see shadows and sometimes double or triple vision. Its not a tumor and its the eye doctors are stumped. I notice however that depression and anxiety seems to make it worse. Anyone else ever experience this?

Well not exactly like that. I get dizzy and feel like I am not on solid ground from time to time. Feel disoriented at times... I was told by my therapist who specializes in anxiety and panic that it is wronge breathing. Too much chest breathing. You deprive your brain of oxygen. You then feel the symptoms I described. I am not sure that is your problem but it wooould be worth a try to work on breathing properly from your diaphram (nice slow deep breathing) It is amazing when you realize that you have been breathing wrong...I had no idea how shallow I had been breathing. Your body over time will readjust itself. good luck...

I have vision problems sometimes. Not triple vision, but definitely blurred vision and sometimes I feel like it is "fading" - everything seems too bright sometimes, too. I think it's definitely anxiety related. I get real tense and sore in the base of my skull from tight muscles and I think those muscles affect your vision sometimes. I have LOTS of neck tension and/or pain and/or stiffness when I have vision problems.

Wow so i guess I really have to learn to relax then... thanks Nana for the info. And I will try some good breathing excerises Mrs.A. Thanks for the input.

When I get stressed and depressed and anxious, my vision gets blurred. Exercise helps to clear that up.
