A health question

Does anyone know about adrenal gland health? I've been told my adrenals are shot, most likly because of stress. It's really taking a toll on my physical and mental well being. I started taking a suppliment called DHEA. I'ts supposed to help, but its mostly a male hormone (I think) I'm a little scared of it. Does anyone have any experience with it or anything similar?

if you are still having questions try posting in the chronic disease sufferers forum of this website or the General Questions area. i've tried those before...also if you don't get feedback there, there are lots of forums on the internet that go into specific probblems. take care.
