i continue to struggle in tennis. i miss easy shots i can get. i try to stay positive and fail at that. i am capable of playing well and i get in my way, repeatedly. i've tried focusing on one thing, then forget. i am positive with my partner. i say nice things to myself, but still miss often.
i "Expect" to play better than i am playing and i can , but don't. i end up feeling bad even tho intellectually i know i am not my game.

My goodness! I play tennis and I love the game. My game hasn't improved as quickly as I would like but nonetheless I keep playing because it is fun. If I were no longer having fun I'd take a break from it. Don't be so hard on yourself. Tennis is not easy!!
