Stress Center Peer Support

Hi everyone im new to this website my name is alexa im 23 years old started the program 2 weeks ago and im stuck on this session its really hard for me to have confidence and to talk postive to myself i live with my parents still and am very afraid of my father he never hits me and i know he never will its more im afraid of what he will say about me and hurt me emotionally he is a very negative person and he asks me to do everything and i could never say no to him or im afraid he'll scream at me and im never relaxed around him its jsut very hard to be assertive and be positive liekthis please any advice i really want the program to work

Hi Alexa, the only thing I can tell you it's to be patient to put more pressure on yourself trying to have miracles results, it took a long time to be in the situation that you are right now so it will take time go back to normal, in time, you will gain your self respect and no matter happen on your house , you'll be above the situation, look for God, look for Jesus it should be church near by , go, talk to the people in charge they will help you and give guidance, along the program you'll be alright, just don't give up, sometimes we think that situation can't be solve, that the worst is yet come when in fact the solution is around the corner, be patient, go to church, in time God will give you all the answers.

it must be hard 4 a young person as yourself 2 have 2 deal with such anger...theres nothing 2 be said,but dont let this person dominate your life so much.get away and start over. goodluck.

thank you very much frank and gf for your responses that were very encouraging and i really needed that its so hard everyday to deal with this feeling but thanks to the program and you guys i know i will get out of this mess and not be afraid anymore
