I feel excited. I talked myself out of a panic attack tonight. I was getting short of breath again, and felt my chest tighten. It felt like a heart issue again.

But I started telling myself I was safe and it was just an attack.

Well it went away. No Hospital. No packing up the family for a night at the er.

I feel good about this tonight.

That's fantastic! Keep up the good work. It's amazing that the answers to our anxiety disorder are so simple. I'm not saying that they're easy to do, just that they're not very complex ideas. Keep up the positive thinking and don't beat yourself up if you have a setback. And remember, success breeds success. Use this experience to help yourself next time.

Congrats Beth. I too survived a panic attack today without it disrupting my plans and it's nice to hear from someone whose had the same victory!
