the more and more i read or hear about anxiety from an audiobook it becomes more and more clear how acceptance is so important. It is the hardest thing to do when it comes to the anxiety but the most beneficial. Without acceptance we cannot calm ourselves down when in the heat of the moment and then anxiety gets even stronger.
You cannot possibly overcome this problem without getting to a point where you stop fighting and accept and float with the symptoms. This is the same information put forth in the 60/70s up until now. The more you fight, the more you activate the fight or flight aka adrenaline and anxiety.
Like i said this before, It is one of the hardest things you can do and keep up. I dunno about you but when i was doing the program in the beginning i was really hopeful and more motivated maybe you'll benefit the way I do as well. Try keeping yourself occupied with Self-help books in order to keep motivated. Most books differ alot when it comes to anxiety and depression but one thing they have in common is calming ourselves down and acceptance and the more we can read it (not rereading the same wording and books over and over and over again), the more ingrained it can become and the more we can accept the concept of accepting to work.
If your intrested why not try going along with the new years resolution i'm planning. at least 1-2 self-help books in a month for the year.
Hope this helps,
Mike
