I am currently working on publishing a
book. I write poetry and decided to share
some here. Hope you like it.
Turnaround Power
The hardest battles in life are
not against others but us.
What to do when the odds are
against us ever succeeding.
What to do when something new
is thrown in the mix.
New challenges worse than
the ones before face us.
Once again, our spirit is challenged
to another height.
The battle gets tough pushing us to extremes.
Proving to almost drive us insane.
Taking us beyond our mental abilities.
Leaving us at our wits end.
Making it seem like we've lost ground.
Something within tells us to push on.
Develop a new attitude.
Find a new direction.
Make a new plan.
March against the odds.
Each step brings new revelations.
Learning lessons to help us survive.
Teaching us to live up to our potential.
Reminding us to not sell ourselves short.
Forcing us to keep our eyes on the prize.
Look at what we've found.
The ability to stand our ground.
The fight could have made us sour,
Instead it helped us rediscover our
