I try and try to be positive but its like I cant! Before I go to work every time I go in its like I constantly talk myself down into how horrible of a day it is going to be! Im so sick of leaving my job with a headache everytime im there! What can I do to try to enjoy my time at work and not get a headache and be angry?

Here's an idea, get an MP3 player with a long list of your favorite upbeat songs. Jam out before you leave the house, sing along, whatever. Take the MP3 player with you to work and listen to it as much as you can. Do you have breaks throughout the day? If not, can you schedule 10 to 15 minutes a few times per day while at work? Go outside and take a walk, kick back with your feet up on the desk...whatever you can to uplift yourself.
Maybe make a list of the most stressful aspects of your job. What are the things that drive you nuts? Are there ways to change your response or delegate these activities, or come up with a new way of operating/restructure? Can you come up with a more organized routine if you feel like things aren't that effecient? If you are in an office, can you rearrange it, maybe put a foot massager under your desk...or a chair massager?
Are you having issues with co-workers? Maybe sit down and have a discussion about any friction.
Good luck.

Hello tmblackbelt, I found your post very interesting. You say you can not get over the negative. Even that statement is negative. Anyways you must consider how long it has taken you to become this way. Turning things around and being positive will take time but it WILL work. Continue the positive self talk. I used the writing pad alot in the begininng writting down the negative thoughts. Also I find it interesting your handle is blackbelt. I know what it takes to earn one and wondered if you were telling yourself the whole time you couldnt do that. I doubt it. Turning things from negative to positive is hard but so worthwhile when you start making progress it will be so worth the effort. Good luck and keep us posted huh. Bruce
