My anxiety has taken a turn for the...
Better.

I can't believe the improvement in my life in the past week....

It is something that is so powerful to me that i can barely describe in words....

I have realized so much about myself in the last week...

I think i've grown as a person and in maturity in the last week that it's scary...

I'm not boasting, i just can't believe how lost i was in myself and my anxiety for such a long time... You let instances in your life that may have taken apart of you away change everything about you. Every thought, every decision. It leaves you feeling empty and alone. You can't see anything but the bad, and fell nothing good for yourself. Relationships around you crumble and you feel as though no one would understand.

This is how i have felt so long...so lost and wondering why i can never be happy...I'm on my second week on session 2. I can not tell you how informative this program is. It has made me take a cold hard look at myself by choice. I see how i have let my anxiety control my life...how my fear has taken over my precious present moments.

Well, i know that on week three i have a lot left to go. I'm not saying i'm magically healed, or that i'm not gonna have to work long and hard to keep improving and making myself a stronger person. But i do know that i've finally...finally...FINALLY found the tools to help me become the person i want to be...the person i know i am.

I am so thankful to Lucinda and her team at StressCenter for teaching me to change and take hold of my life.

Just an update.

Its so amazing that taking a cold hard look at yourself like you said can make you realize so many things. I am just starting week three today and I am feeling so confident and so much better all together just knowing that I am working hard towards the goal of being the person that I want to be and know I can be. Keep up the hard work as will I.

Wow Angie, that's awesome. Imagine if you changed this much after week two how you will feel in another couple of weeks or when you're done with the program. We really do get out of this program what we put into it, and you are dedicated.

Good for you Angie! Isn't it like someone has taken a huge weight off of your neck? I'm on day 4 of session 2, and already I feel the power of using the techniques to stop a panic attack. Its amazing that in 4 years of dealing with this that I have never felt so good as just the last few days of trying to implement these tools. Literally in just a few days I'm seeing with disbelief my anxiety and panic receding! Its truly hard to believe!

I'm really happy for you and thanks for the encouraging post!!

Hi Angela,
Congratulations on how you are doing. This is fantastic.
Your post was exactly what I needed to hear today and I am so happy for you.
It is really good to hear success stories on this forum even if they are just baby steps.

I myself have been having some success with this program and while every day isn't necessarily a bunch of roses the tools that we learn in this program seriously help.

Good luck and keep smiling.
