I restarted the program around July 25th 2008...The first picture is August 12th 2008 and the 2nd is July 15th...I'll let you be the judge.

I restarted the program also but I am stuck on lesson 3. The same lesson I stopped the last time. Hope your progress is better than mine.

Yes , Session 3 is hard. But you can do it.
Have you got a notebook? Try journaling.
And just take baby steps.
Keep listening to the Cd's.
Especially the Relaxation one. If it is so you can, try to relax with it several times a day.
We are pulling for you!!!!

Mary Jane's advice is excellent. Session Three is hard for a reason, it's the one we are so very good at driving in the wrong direction. If you think of it that way, that you are already really, really good at Three, but you are driving in the wrong direction, and you need to turn your car around and go the other way. It won't be as intimidating, or difficult, if you just unravel it.

Hello!Yes I can notice the difference!I'm laughing right now because a couple of weeks ago I had some people tell me that they could see the peace in my eyes and how much more relaxed that I looked.I said "what do you mean?" and my sister in law said "I don't know,before you're eyes just looked huge like you were just completely terrified!"When I just looked at your picture I guess I see what she's talking about.LOL!I'm glad that you're feeling better now.Take care!We have to just relax!

Thankyou for all your support and ya this is more motivation to keep going. About the expresso comment...i find this funny because i don't even drink coffee or caffine for that matter and there was a time that people kept asking me if i was stoned...its intresting how you can tell that i'm spacy just by looking at me

....I did a comparisson of my latest pick with pics all the way back to 2000 and its intresting...i look the exact way i felt at the time...i was like an open book and i think people could really pick up on it and now they can pick up on my more calm nature too... its great
As for Lesson 3...yes it does get tricky...i believe this is the 5,6 or 7th time i've been on lesson 3 and i find that with more time on it...i've understood it more and more and gotten better and better at it.
Shimdan...what is it about lesson 3 that you get stuck on? realizing the negative thought? Replacing it on paper? Giving yourself credit?

It is just all those negative tapes playing in my head (or cd to be more up to date)like replacing a thought in my head with a positive then this question "yeah right you know that is not true' At times I feel like I am in a bad movie with the devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other. But I know this does not change overnight. Plus I am battling depression. I was doing fine (or at least I thought) without meds and now I am back. I told my Dr. I feel like that movie "what about Bob?" Ive been going to him so long.(10 years)He says I am a highly sensitive person (like all of all this board) so learning to handle what goes into the mind has be managed.
I am glad that you have found this program while you are still young. Back to lesson 3

ah those yeah right responses...ya i've gotten those too. Sometimes you just need to write out those ya right ones out there too...i mean you are thinking that way because you've been in the cycle for awhile so Accept that you feel this way and let yourself know that it will slowly pass.
Plus the Ya right response...well maybe you don't feel like it is 100% true but maybe it's only 10% right now or 15%...maybe the percentages are going up. Maybe ya right is you mind expecting it to be 100%....Do you run marathons before you even learn to crawl?
