I am a mother of 3 children and 2 of them have disabilities. I am ending session 2 and doing my homework faithfully. It has definintly helped lessen the intensity of my panic attacks, but now my 12 yo has to go through another heart surgery having a mitral valve replacement. I am anxiously waiting to hear from his Dr. on Monday and my panic attacks are getting the best of me.
I have noticed that they tend to come on strong at night when my body is at rest, but my mind is overactive.
I am very greatful that my sons condition can be repaired, but this is his 2nd surgery and we had complications with the first one, thus the reason we are going back for another.
I am trying to stay confident and praying that the skills I have learned so far help me be stronger for all of my children throughout this.
So, I know what I am anxious about, but the fear of complications is really takin a toll.
