Terry,
It is completely normal to be nervous and want to run away when you are going to have a medical procedure. It's scary and unfamiliar. Don't feel that you are abnormal or that it's dangerous that you feel this way... And if you have something like Klonopin or Valium, take one the night before or in the morning if the doctor is okay with it.
The doctor will give you (and if they don't offer, insist) medication that will make you comfortable and you won't remember a thing afterwards. I can tell you that I took my mother-in-law for an endoscopy, and when I joined her in the recovery room, she insisted she was still waiting and hadn't had the procedure yet. It wasn't until the doctor came in and told her he had done it himself, and showed her a picture of her stomach, that she started relenting... And then I had to mess it up by asking the doctor how we could know that was a picture of her stomach... it could have been anyone's!
He had no sense of humor, but maybe the story can make you smile tomorrow when you go... And tell them that you are nervous - it helps to share your feelings and maybe they can do something to make you feel better.
Best of luck - I'm sure you are going to be okay!
