For anyone who experiences hot flashes when a panic attack is coming on, I stumbled upon a way to eliminate those sensations.

I usually get hot flashes up the back of my neck, across my chest, and on my forearms and thighs. To eliminate these, I found that slapping the area lightly and then immediately wiping the area (as if dusting yourself off), the sensations go away.

For myself, I found that doing away with the hot flashes reduced the effects of a panic attack or prevented it from continuing altogether.

Hope others find this helpful.

wow that is a very unique way to overcome them and I don't understand how that works but hey if it works, great!

I have never connected panic attacks and hot flashes. Now that I think about it there is something like a hot flash with a attack.
