This is my second time around with the program. I am a Junior in college and began having anxiety attacks as a Freshman in college.
I got the program in the summer and was unable to finish since school started. But this semester I've had enough and decided to give this another try :) My anxiety attacks quickly turned to panic attacks and the places I feel safe are very few. It is really hard going to college and dealing with panic attacks. Especially when they are school related. My safe people are my parents. I am almost 21 years old and my parents take me to my classes, sit in the vehicle and wait on me to get done. Sometimes it is a sturggle to even get in the classroom. What am I afraid of? My body symptoms...I get really naseuos & over the course of having anxiety I've become afraid of throwing up. I am a pre-nursing major. I havee always wanted to be a nurse, but now I am having second thoughts...I think I am letting my fears get in the way however. Any suggestions on how to deal with panic attacks while in the classroom without having to get up and leave?

You can get special compensation assistance through your school. They can offer you a quiet room for exams, class notes, etc. Look into it ASAP. Go to a guidance counselor and ask about it.
