Hi,
I keep falling asleep during the relaxation audio. I find that I haven't gotten to the thrid part of the exercise & tend to drift into dleep right after the muscle relaxation piece. Is any one else having this problem? What has been done to improve it?

Hi Sweetpassion3,

Actually, you have stumbled upon a GOOD problem, and it is not a problem at all. Falling asleep during relaxation or meditation is great, actually super. Realize that your subconscious is taking everything in even though you physically are asleep (very relaxed). I wish I could fall asleep every time during the times I listen to meditation or relaxation exercises or music. This just goes to show that the relaxation is, indeed, working and that the relaxation audio has served its purpose. You ARE relaxing! Don't fight to stay awake, just take it as it comes. It is doing the job! Good luck!

Hey Passion,
I had to laugh when I saw this post. I feel you! Sometimes I have slept for 2 hours and don't remember the end of the tape. In fact it has played 3 times while I was asleep. Maybe I still get the message while sleeping!
I don't know how to get over this. I sometimes listen to it after lunch so that may be part of the problem.

@FLYER99...Thanks, I didn't realize that maybe it was working...I thought I just wasn't focusing enough. lol And yes, I have slept for hours after without realizing it! This is a Good and funny problem to have I guess.

@flippinkid...I don't either, but since I 've posted this, I have made it to the end!!! :-) Although, I don't consistently make it, but I'm working on it.

Concentrate relax to your mind first, then you hear voice. This could be done for firstever. Try it!

Sweetspassion3... that's really funny! It sounds like the relaxation audio is overdosing on you--haha! My problem is a little different--and a heck of a lot more frustrating. I fell asleep while listening to Session Two! I woke up at the end of the CD and said, "Huh??? What happened?" LOL.

It's frustrating to fall asleep "in class." It makes me think that I must have a sleep debt and I'm not getting enough sleep during the night. And to make matters worse, falling asleep during listening to a Session audio will make it even harder for me to fall asleep during the night!

And to make matters even worse yet, now I have to repeat Session two again... and still more worse... since I've heard part of it before, it'll put me to sleep even faster--LOL!

I think your situation is a whole lot better than mine. Congratulations on falling asleep during the Relaxation CD! Mission Accomplished! It's working wonderfully on you!!! Blessings!
