My 4-year-old occasionally comes up with some zingers. This morning he shared with me:

"When you are singing, just sing.
When you are dancing, just dance.
When you are sitting, just sit.
When you are eating, just eat."

They may have said something like this to him in Sunday school, I don't know.

Once I was crying and said I had too many things going around in my head. He hugged my legs and said: "Mommy. I know what will make you feel better." He held up one finger. "Only think of ONE thing at a time." So I try.

kids are so great - its too bad our adult minds can't keep it as simple as it is to them!

That was beautiful........and to think we all use to be children.........and if we had not grown up we would still have the same calmness and happiness they have within......regardless of a situation.....children are always happy and at peace. Great inspiration!!

Thanks for the positive post! Kids can say the most precious things. They call them as them see 'em.
