We Have Never Been Parents Before...

I discovered something a little while back after being harsh on myself as a parent. In my whole existence (I believe in a pre-mortal life) I have never been a parent...so of course I won't do everything perfect now! I have to learn through experiences--successes and failures...how to be the best mom I can. I hope this gives some comfort for you all...I know it's hard to do for us perfectionist, but be gentle with yourself! We are here to progress and we can if we have faith.

And the best part is, the kids have never been someone's kid before, so if you mess up they won't know it!!!!
