SoWhatIf, I could not agree more. I know based on the experiences I have had that I am in this for the long haul (a lifetime journey). While there are certian things that stressed me out in the past, those same things are not affecting me the same way today. 1+ years from now it _will_ be something ...

Paislee and csherwood, I am on this forum right now because I went through all of the CD's in the program, I got a great short term fix from just running through all of them day after day, and I felt great fast. I learned a lot, and something different every time I listened to any given CD. So this ...

Hi csherwood, I was listening to a speaker tonight who said something I think is applicable to your situation, "If you buy into the part of you that gets disappointed, you may give up on your vision before you get started. Stay focused on having a burning desire and the how will take care of itself....

Jack,
I wish I had the answer. I can only tell you that there are many people who appreciate you serving and have a great deal of respect for you, including myself.

Katie_Lee18, I have a few for you; Are you shy? Are you reserved? Is there someone you ask to hang out? Is there someone you initiate a conversation with? We all fit in somewhere and we don't have to compromise ourselves in the process. You may need to open up the possibility of meeting and having f...

The one thing I realized at this moment is that my starting over was the best thing that could have happened to me. I what I decided to do this time around, instead of racing through the 15 sessions was to make use of the program as intended (sincerely) by doing no more than one session per week. As...

I had a really rough night tonight. At the end of the day I came home and started reading Session I page 1-11 and I learned how I would deal with it all. The top of the page says, "If the cause of the depression (stress and anxiety) is dealt with and alleviated, the result (depression) should be rel...

Paisleegreen,
It was comical to say the least. I must have looked and acted like a little (explitive)! lol I am a little braver these days. I think we all worry about the falling part and ironically are a little suicidal, but probably would not carry it out by jumping cause then we would wake up! lol

I can really relate to this topic. I always had a fear of heights, but the first time I had fear going over a bridge was in upstate NY (syracuse area)I was with my Mom and her friend going to college and I freaked out! I could only drive 50 mph. The whole time I would think someone would grab the wh...

I have a lot of goals, but I have come to realize that my number 1 goal is to get well. Staying involved with the program and the forum is critical. I also realize that this is not a 15 week process and then I am done, but something that is ongoing.
