When I was at my worse I not only cold turkey cut out caffeine, I also quit smoking, alcohol, and anything sweet, like chocolate! Now that I am better, I am back on the bad habit, except for the alcohol, thinking of quitting smoking again, too!

Sometimes we can mistaken excitement for panic attacks! When you are excited you can sometimes have similar symptoms that you would experience with a panic attack! Think about it! Most likely it was a panic attack, though!

It could have been caused by the movie or just a random panic attack! Regardless of where it originated, know that there is lots of things to help you to cope with it! If you have been checked before by your doctors and have been given a clean bill of health, you want to deal with the real issue at hand, and that is your anxiety/panic attacks! Learn to accept it, and go with it , without fearing it! I know it is easier said than done, but that is the path to true ...

Sounds like derealization! Common with anxiety sufferers! Having this for so long is unusual, in my opinion! Have you ever been on meds or on meds now? It can be helpful! I had it, and going on medication helped it to go away!

You sound depressed! Focusing on negative issues and outcomes is the source of your depressive mood! Focus on better, positive things and expectations! It is recommended to stay on an antidepressant for at least 6 months minimum! 12-18 months is better, it can help to prevent a relapse! Unless you are prone to anxiety and panic, you may benefit from taking your meds for a longer period!
