Re: All That Workbook Homework!!

KAMO, just know how wonderful you are at your work: caring, giving, attentive. You want to direct those attributes to yourself too. With your husband on vacation you can encourage him to help you deal with the anxieties you've expressed at his absence. Best to you. Keep us posted. It is remarkable ...

Re: So this is me... journaling publically... wow!

I was a caffeine addict also, but slowly switched to decaf. I would fix a pot of coffee with 1/2 regular and 1/2 decaf, then the next week use more decaf than regular until I was drinking all decaf without any side effects. I used to use a lot of sugar, but am now down to about 1/2 of what I used to...

Re: Week 2

I'm so glad to know you are getting better, but you are only on Session 2 and I would suggest that you keep on and do the rest of them and the work book. You'll never know how much better you could feel if you don't complete the course.

Re: WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?

Have no inside scoop, but would suggest to ignore those who do not belong. What I have noticed is that a thread asking people to join on FB has vanished. Or am I losing my marbles? Am very pleased it is gone. Is FB lacking people? Does it offer a program like this one? Without sounding like an idio...

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?

What in the world is going on with all these posts that are advertisements or don't make any sense? This is supposed to be a Peer Support post for individuals with emotional problems to help each other, not a billboard for advertising!

Re: Having trouble letting go and moving forward

Just be sure you put God first, not your abuser. I have an abusive father, although it's emotional, not physical and I am trying to gain control of my life and not let my father control me. A great book to read is by Beth Moore, So Long Insecurity. All of us that are dealing with panic and anxiety a...

Re: Lexapro to Celexa anyone?

I've never used Lexapro but am on Clonazepam and celexa. I haven't had any problems accept they both make me sleepy so I take them at night before I go to bed. I just started the celexa and have not had an anxiety attack since taking it. So far, I love it for my anxiety attacks.

Thanks, it's been a good one so far - don't have to work this weekend ( I work at a hospital in the Critical Care Waiting Room), and my husband has all of next week off for vacation.

Re: new to the program

I am just like you. I wake up every morning wondering if I'm going to have an anxiety attack and it seems to be on my mind just about all day until my husband gets home. That's part of what causes an anxiety attack - thinking about the next one. Since we are the cause of our anxiety, we have to lear...
