Re: Becoming Mean

I need to agree with the last post. Is it possible that the people in your life were there because you were such a pushover? I know that, re: my own experience, my need to be liked was so great that I put up with a great deal that I shouldn't have. Once those people were out of my life, there was a ...

Re: Can someone please help me?!

Another thought, Willows - deep breathing. Just focus on it. Not like meditation, (although it can become that) but something about doing deep breathing exercises slows down the racing heart and thoughts. There are several programs available for Nook and Kindle that will guide you through deep breat...

Re: How long before buspar kicks in?

I was told it takes about three weeks to kick in. I really can't vouch for it, as my period of panic attacks never went on for that long, and, at that point, I just wasn't willing to take meds. I still deal with depression every day, but the anxiety seems to have left altogether.

Re: Chronic pain

Hi, LyndaLu, and all here - I'm new to the forum, and while I doubt that my condition is nearly as severe as any you have mentioned, (plantar fasciitis, sinus tarsi, arthritis, and posterior tibial tendon dysfunction - all in the same spot on the same foot) I can sympathize with what you are experie...

Re: Hypatitis C

and the interferon doesn't help with the depression and anxiety!! But it's critical. Just know that most strains are curable now - and the one that isn't - is treatable. the husband i told you about after your ed comment forum suffered from this, too. The good news is that he had a couple of 'up' da...

Re: Erectile Dysfunction is depressing.

yes, I can! But the main reason I signed in here - while I know it's scant consolation for not being able to have sex (in the conventional manner) I just wanted to say - my husband couldn't for the last few years of his life, and it made not one bit of difference in how much I loved him. Just so you...
