Re: WHEN WILL THEY STOP?!!!

Laurence, I don't know what I would have ever done without my Stress Center coach Dana. Forget challenging my fears, I couldn't even listen to Session 2 it gave me so much panic. She helped me get through it and now two years later I'm recovered and I have faced many of my fears, not all of them yet...

Minneapolis, London now Chicago! WOW

I am a little more than a year out of the program and I just keep getting stronger! I stayed alone for the first time in over 28 years and the first time ever alone in a hotel when we were dropping our son and daughter at two colleges. My husband went with our son after a day with our daughter at he...

Re: I lost a part of me

Hi Daniele, I am so sorry you lost your Mom. I want to share with you how the program helped me in hopes it will help you. I went through the program and it gave me back my life. I was lost in anxiety, depression and wanted to die. I guess I'm a "success story", but I know everyone can be with this ...

Re: back!

Hi Alex, I had some reservations holding me back as I went through the program, too. I just kept going forward and reaching out and I'm so glad I did. I found the coaching very helpful! I'm proud of you for carrying your book to write negative thoughts and dispute them. One thing I realized more cle...

Re: I'm new

Hi! So glad for you that your getting started. I just want to welcome you and encourage you to go forward celebrating each "slow, steady step" as my coach always encouraged me to do. I've gone through the program and it gave me back my life. I am so grateful! I used the coaching as I worked my way t...

What's behind my anger?

When I take the time to think what it behind my anger, I disfuse much of my anger in the process. It reminds me of thinking of what is behind my anxiety. It lifts it just to be gracious to myself and accept that somethings bothering me. I guess being real and honest with myself is a really freeing t...

I just let the anxiety attack go.

I finished the program a few weeks ago and was feeling really good. Then, I came to a challenging day. I began to feel at the kitchen table that I was ramping up for an anxiety attack. Just as fast as I thought, "I can't handle this, I'm going to my room and I feel like an anxiety attack is going to...

Re: It's been a hard week, but i'll be OK

Dear Coachchris,

I don't have the words to adequately express how your encouragement touched my heart. It has been such a painful situation and I have such a loving family and support network and you are part of that. It makes all the difference in the world. I can't thank you enough.

It's been a hard week, but i'll be OK

I had a traumatic experience this week. I've done ok because of the program. I got a migraine half way through and had a hard time yesterday and today off and on, but I'm feeling better each day. I realize it's like the pain of grief I'm dealing with and there is guilt and worry in some of the bound...

Peaceful Parenting

I would like to suggest a book--Ritalin is Not the Answer by David Stein. I raised six children. We did not have any hyperactive, ADD or ADHD kids, but this book still changed our lives. I was able to discipline without spanking, yelling, threatening, warning or manipulating after we implemented the...
