Re: What To Do When Driving Far Away? Help!

I feel just like you do...I used to be able to drive anywhere alone for the same reasons...Plus I could leave whenever I wanted and didnt have to make excuses...Did you explain to your family how you are feeling? Do they know about your anxiety and agoraphobia? I have found that by being open and ho...

Re: Feeling worse than ever!

Hi ninadancer! I have had similar stuff, but here is why it is happening and don't give up! You are confronting things face to face and it is an ugly monster!,,,,,,,,,BUT, the only way to get better is to realize that you are greater and can combat and beat the monster into the ground! Some therapi...

Re: Intense Anxiety before Menstruation

Hi Beth...I have been getting those symptoms too - they started to get bad about 2 years ago and are really off the charts now. I get panic attacks, jittery, general anxiety etc....How old are you? I am wondering if they are possibly due to peri-menopause if you are between the age of 35-55...It see...

Re: morning shakes a terrible start to the day

I feel this way too. Mornings are always the worst for me. I have researched this and came up with two possible reasons - first the level of cortisol is highest in the morning and its one of the stress hormones that make us feel so crappy - second its the longest time we go without any food so our b...

Re: A perimenopausal woman finding her way

I can relate to perimenopause and the symptoms of anxiety and panic it brings with it! Sometimes it really IS hard to tell the difference between the panic disorder and the hormonal fluctuations! I found a wonderful book I'd like to tell you about...Its called Menopause Sucks by Joanne Kimes. Its a ...

Re: I Need Reassurance

I'm on CD 5 as well, and I have been having a very difficult time dealing with my anxiety as well. it feels like its getting worse actually. Some other people on the forum think its because I am facing the anxiety instead of avoiding it, and maybe thats why I feel worse. I also read some info about ...

Re: Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you Tina. It seems to have gotten the best of me this time - and I say this time because it has come and gone for decades. I guess I thought I had it beat, so when it came back I was taken by a terrible surprise. I have had tons of stress in my life these past few years. So many changes too - ...
