Changing

Well, I think I am FINALLY beginnning to get something here. AT first, and during, my journey into the program I truly felt I am NEVER going to get anything out of this. Then finally, I started to push myself to drive. Since I moved to a new area of the country, I NEVER drove. Then, finally, I start...

Re: Religious Dogma>>>God is not punishing you!

I believe that God speaks to us in all ways, not only in the Bible. I try to think as I go through my day, try to observe things that come up in everyday life, and even dreams, that God is trying to give us "clues" and messages into what we may be missing or in which direction we should be going tow...

Re: Religious Dogma>>>God is not punishing you!

To: NeverQuit: You have stated in words things that I feel I have left out and I thank you for your post, I feel your post complements my post and adds to it statements that I myself wish I included in mine. I guess we need to understand that we cannot really ever understand God, how could we? I und...

Re: Anxiety about being alone

I use my colored pencils and coloring book once in a while, I leave it on the coffee table and grab it as a distraction. Recently, I started drawing again. I am drawing my feelings. I used to fantisize about showing my art and having a show. I hope someday that will be a reality. That would be my dr...

Re: Religious Dogma>>>God is not punishing you!

I would rather say I am spiritual than to commit to any specific religion. I was born a Catholic and I follow Christ's word, but so do many others that were not born into a Christian religion. I believe in God. I believe I have a soul and that there is an afterlife. My comment was just to let others...

Religious Dogma>>>God is not punishing you!

Do you sometimes feel like this? I did for a while. I would like to hear your thoughts. I am not a minister and I am not here to turn you to God or anything like that. I just want to know what you think and see if anyone else felt or feels that they are being punished. Put it out there....I would li...

Re: I CANT BELIEVE SOME OF U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every once in a while I find someone to chat too...but not enough! I too dont understand why more people dont do the on line chat! Its a perfect distraction to prevent or end a panic attack or just talk to some one who understands!!! I end up watching the same "flics" over and over again in the welc...

Its amazing that you found and documented how many times she used the word medication. You are very intuitive and just realize how sensitive and smart you are!! I have to applaud this. Excellent observation. I bet you can refocus this amazing talent of observation to do something really fantastic!

Re: Anxiety about being alone

I too had to just drive around the neighborhood for a few tries. Driving is hard for me too. I feel like I am going to get to where I am going and not be able to get back. I know the driving "deal" probably better than everyone. Whats worse is that I moved to a new area of the country and I dont kno...

Re: Health obssesion

I am encouraged (but not happy!) to see that health obsessions are more common than I thought. I was running from doctor to doctor and none of them found anything physically wrong with me. They all told me I have anxiety. I tried many medications but now I think cognitive therapy is what I am missin...
