Re: Went to the ER last night, very odd prognosis...

Last year, when my 84 year old grandmother was in the ER for a heartrate of over 200 and high bp, they tested her urine and said she tested positive for marijuana!! My grandmother didn't even know what it was! Once it wore off, she was fine and sent home. We don't know how that happened, but we sure...

The same problem as in...you're not sure which if it's sinus/allergy or anxiety? Or you have the same problem but know that it's anxiety related?

Symptom of Panic or Sinus and Allergy Problems?

Hello everyone! I have a question about a symptom that I have. Every day, I wake up feeling normal. Then, within an hour of waking up, I start to feel pressure in my head, usually surrounding my sinus area in the face and my forehead and in my ears. This starts my anxiety cycle for the day. I start ...

Re: Pregnacy and medicine

I accidentally got pregnant while on Klonopin and I lost the baby (I had only taken it about 5 times when I didn't know I was pregnant). Klonopin is in no way, shape or form safe during pregnancy. It is a Class D drug. There are several other drugs that are safer to take during pregnancy. Tell your ...

Re: Panicking when I go shopping

Hi Jen, It's nice to know that I'm not the only one that has this problem! I thought I was a freak, lol! It happened again tonight. I went grocery shopping with my daughter and by the time we got to our 3rd store of the night, I was a mess - I was shaking, could barely stand up, was getting tunnel v...

Re: Can you just forget about it?

See, this is what I don't understand! My dad is COMPLETELY recovered! He was agoraphobic, right before I was born, which was in his late 20's, early 30's. He was on Valium and Lithium for his panic and anxiety. He said he spent 3 months just laying in his bed. There is also another person I know tha...

Can you just forget about it?

I know a few people that have suffered from anxiety. They have overcome it now, with an occasional setback here and there, but never relapsed. One of them has been anxiety free for 40 years now (that's my dad). All of these people have a common breaking point - one day they just told themselves they...

Panicking when I go shopping

Hi! I am looking for some advice. It seems that whenever I have to leave the house to go shopping, I end up having a massive panic attack while in the checkout line at the store. I think I have figured out that my trigger is spending money - we are having a bit of financial difficulty lately and eve...

Re: What is happening to me??? Baaaaaad panic attacks!

Thank you Tina. I am going in sequence, but I've skipped ahead to the areas that are giving me all of my trouble. I am on Session 5 and am already doing everything that this session tells you to do, so it really doesn't apply to me. I listened to Session 9 today and boy, it hit the nail on the head....

What is happening to me??? Baaaaaad panic attacks!

I am on Session 5, but I skipped ahead and listened to Session 8 and 10, because I am a compulsive "what if" worrier. I think there is another session that addresses worry and maybe that's where I should be. Anyway, I was doing pretty well, starting to feel more confident in the fact that all of my ...
