Have you tried putting off worry until a certain time?

In the program it talks about putting off worring about something until a certain time of day. Has anyone tried this? Does it work for you? I'm having the hardest time not worring about worring. How do you just put it out of your mind. Do you just keep saying to yourself, "I won't think about it now...

Re: A VERY INTERESTING THOUGHT, CLICK HERE.

I don't know that I can stop an angry thought all that fast, but I can stop an angry action. I find that by not acting on my anger right away I can analize why I'm really angry. A lot of the time it's not really the person, it's something else bothering me. Then I'm greatful I didn't yell or say som...

Re: Trying to stay positive

I too am sensitive to others critisim and rude jokes. I am learning to be less affected. I think what helps is replacing those negative thoughts with positives. Then that builds your self asteem and what others say doesn't bother you so much. Look at it as thier problem not yours. Also something rea...

Re: how to express anger

I think session 7 and this one goes hand in hand. In session 7 you learn to be more assertive. I think by being assertive and not aggressive it helps to not be so angry because you are taking care of yourself.

Re: My goal for anger

I meant to follow up last week. It has been a while since I've gotten on here. I did pretty good last week at not yelling. I wasn't perfect, but huge improvement. I learned and payed more attention to what really sets me off. I think I learned a lot about myself this week. Just by paying closer atte...

anxiety with school out

The last day of school brought on so much anxiety. One my kids are growing up. For some reason this has been bothering me lately. I'm scared of them growing too fast. Two, what do I do with them all summer?! :?

half of coaching vidoe #7

I only got half of the coaching video for session #7. Did this happen to anyone else? Is there another half out there somewhere? I've been getting them sent to me by email. I would like to see the other half if anyone knows where I can find it.

Thanks

In the workbook it says something about extra vitamine B6 before the period. Has anyone tried it? Does it help?
