Spiraling downhill with no control, how deep is the bottom, will I ever resurface, or is this the last time, I just want it to end one way or another.

Re: Depressed Most of My Life

Deep depression is rearing it's ugly head again. I cried a lot yesterday morning. Didn't want my little princess (2 yr old granddaughter) to come to my house; just too depressed. I think i may have gotten my last unemployment compensation check; literally, don't know where my next dollar is coming f...

Re: using anxiety medication as needed

I would never give anybody advice on medication, you should talk to a doctor that you trust, and when in regards to disorders involving the mind, I would only talk to a psychiatrist that is up to date on what is new as well as the long-time standards. However, I am willing to tell you what I have se...

Re: Paxil

You should talk to your doctor and tell him that you are thinking about going off your medication. If he doesn't think...

Re: Helping me find a way to fight this thought

Maybe you're picking the wrong guy, so maybe it's him and not you. Its OK not to have a boyfriend at this time, your plate is full and it's important to stay focused on your studies. You will meet a better man if you improve your self-esteem first. Your obviously a very intelligent, devoted, caring p...

Re: thoughts of death :(

Last Christmas, I went so far as to buy everybody big Christmas presents (3-6 times more than I usually spend) got my grandson a $400 dollar present for birthday this May (usually only spend $50)) because I felt that I would d...

John, Do a search on Father's Love Letter and print out the text. I find it very comforting and reassuring. God is always waiting for you with open arms.

Re: Depressed Most of My Life

My daughter called me this morning and let me know that she was dropping my granddaughter off for me today. God does move mountains. The little one has a way of making my outlook much brighter. But sometimes i feel like i have all my eggs in one basket. I really don't have much of a life and not qui...

Re: Can anxiety attacks also be anger attacks.

I did a quick search and here’s what I found. There is a difference between a panic attack and an anger attack. Anger attacks typically occur in situations in which an individual feels emotionally trapped rather than as the result of fear and anxiety that is often associated with panic attacks. Plea...
