Re: Have you tried putting off worry until a certain time?

Try writing it down and really telling yourself that you'll worry about it later. And then when it comes to the time you've alloted as your worry time, then that's when you worry about that specific thing. I hope this helps. It's really been helping me. I suffer from scary thoughts

Re: Just a newbie here

Welcome Lelia!!!!! So glad you're here helping yourself. I know exactly what you mean about the scary thoughts in the notebook. We'll have to buy stock :D All I can say is take the 15 weeks and try to do everything the program says. It really works and really gets you to know yourself. Don't beat yo...

Re: starting over

Just don't stop and keep going!!!! It will finally click!! Really absorb the information and do the relaxation 3 times a day. It's only 15 min. If I feel like I don't have time to lay down in the middle of the day, I listen to the relaxation while I'm doing something. (Of course not while driving or...

Re: Lucinda are you out there?

This time around, I'm taking things slower. What's the rush? I figured I have 2 choices: I will either have anxiety and do nothing about it and get worse OR I will have anxiety and work on it and get better. It's something we have to deal with. I think after all these years I have finally accepted i...

Re: Second time through program/how many times does it take?

My second time too. I'm more excited about it this time because I feel like I'll get more out of it. I'm just so tired of living this way!! When I pinpoint my thoughts, I really try to calm down and rationalize and think, what's really bothering me. Personally, I've been very stressed and taking on ...

Re: nervous about talking with a lifecoach

Tammy is my coach and has helped me tremendously!!! It's so worth the money from what you get. It's a one on one and they get you through it all and they've all been there.

Re: Lucinda are you out there?

The 6 steps are what we do, but I think the most important task we have is how we talk to ourselves. Compassionate self talk. We need to talk to ourselves like we are talking to someone we care about. What would you tell someone that you love I they were experiencing a panic attack. I think what hel...

@Lyndalu, I'm in the same boat. I'm excited to start this over and feel myself getting more out of it this time. Good luck and let's keep picking ourselves up :)

Re: Let the excitement begin!...again

Lol, you sound like me :D I grew up very spoiled in the sense that my parents didn't want me to feel pain. They would always "fix" things for me. So now I realize that it's time to grow up and I don't like it. I'm 36 and I think it's time that I take responsibility for myself. Baby steps. I have tim...
