It sounds like since you have done the tests and are fine that it is a body symptom of your anxiety. Everyone has different symptoms that are caused by anxiety, my biggest is stomach ache and nausea. I feel like since this is a self-help program, it is self-customizable too. If you feel like it will not help at all, and you are already familiar with antidepressants, you will be fine to skip it. I think the rest of the weeks are important and teach life skills, but week 11 might not be necessary ...

I have just started this program and have mixed feelings about if I can benefit or not. I have no doubt it helps some people, but it is a lot of money to me, as I am an extremely poor college student and in debt (adds to the worries). I am just wanting to hear peoples ideas about the program, honest...

That's fantastic! What a great step forward, I am sure things will be improving exponentially from now on. Every day with no anxiety is a great success. And remember, if you feel anxiety or depression again sometime soon, it will pass and it is not a setback. Now that you have gotten through a whole...

Well, I used to get stomach flu on and off as a kid, and throw up a couple times from that. And each time was literally the scariest moment of my life, as stupid as that is. Then I went from age ten to 17 without ever vomiting. I actually think I trained my body to not physically be able to throw up...

Thanks for all your responses. I think the scariest part of it is that yes, even if you become housebound the possibility of throwing up is always with you. I can't run away from my own body. If I feel sick at all, I literally go out of my mind with terror, there is nothing I can do to stop it. The ...

Does anyone else have emetophobia? I have dealt with this phobia my whole life, and I would like to hear from others who have this. It used to absolutely run my life, and I have improved slightly but it still interferes and gives me severe anxiety. Has anyone recovered completely or imrpoved from th...
