Swede, Thank you for your advice. I am dealing with this much better than I once was and you're right - ruling out the nasty diseases has been a big help. I've had two normal MRIs (MS was my fear) and had my eyes examined by countless specialists. I also exercise regularly and just bought an excelle...

Swede, I was told the same thing by my very good neuro-ophth about my visual symptoms - don't know if you read my post above. He believes it is a migraine-variant. I have had these symptoms for a year and they started after taking Elavil ( a relative to trazadone). I happened to be stressed at the t...

Chantal, I just popped in to check and see if you had posted lately and here you are! I must be psychic! I also still have vision problems - in fact, that's my only remaining symptom. I have many weird things in my vision including the wiggly vision, light sensitivity and more. Do you still have the...

An optical migraine or "ophthamologic migraine" is a migraine without the headache. These are like the symptoms I experience, except that they have a limited course or time to them. 20-60 minutes, I believe is what I was told. My visuals are constant, 24/7. That is why my doctor called it "migraine ...

Well, things are still the same here. I am trying really hard to accept it as anxiety, but it is sooooo hard when blindness has truly been something I have feared forever and now this is happening to my eyes. The "what if" thinking is horrible. Happy Girl - how long have you had vision trouble? Does...

Chantal, That's strange you mentioned your family history of eye disease. My mom has a rare corneal disease that will require cornea transplants to save her sight. It is hereditary, but I have no signs as of yet. When I found this out, I went into an anxiety tailspin. I was worried for her and selfi...

Chantal, I also have the heat waves and vibrating vision. I notice that carpet seems to "simmer" or vibrate. Do you see that? How is your night vision? Is it affected like mine - where you see lots of "static" or tv-like snow? Just like to know what others see. I really believe it is anxiety related...

Chantal, I just posted a long message and erased it - aaggghhhh! Anyway, I am wondering if you think you are seeing the entopic phenomenon -that is the white blood cells zipping around in the eye. These are like many little lights and they are most apparent against the sky or white wall (but I see t...

Chantal, It's funny that you posted about this because I was thinking of checking in on you and your eyes. I remembered your post from a couple months ago. I have the EXACT same problems and they started during a time of great stress and have continued. But I'm definitely not over the stress because...
