My psychiatrist upped my dosage of Buspar a few days ago and I've been having a lot of anxiety/agitation/difficulty falling asleep since. Has anyone else had this reaction to Buspar? If so, did it go away eventually?

It could be, but isn't necessarily. It sounds like "Magical Thinking" but the big question is whether or not this causes you distress or interferes with your life.

First, go see a psychiatrist or therapist. You need to know if you actually have OCD or some other anxiety disorder. The techniques used to treat OCD versus other disorders can be different, so you want to be sure you're treating the right disorder.

Don't rush yourself. It takes time to learn new techniques and ultimately new habits. I was watching The Good Wife tonight and in it someone asked her if "it gets easier" and she replied "No. But you get better at it." I think that might apply to our struggles.

Beyond having OCD and related anxiety, one of my biggest issues is being alone. I have terrible fear of it, particularly that I will have a panic attack, or become suicidal, or something awful. It's nearly always related to being afraid of anxiety and panic.

Well, watching someone vomit (or doing it yourself) is certainly an uncomfortable experience. I don't think anyone enjoys it. The cognitive behavioral approach would be to expose yourself to people actually vomiting to lessen your anxiety around it.
